Shaping the Future of Orthopaedic Treatment and Care at OTWorld
Under the motto "Join the progress", the global orthopaedic treatment and care industry is getting together at OTWorld in Leipzig from 14 to 17 May 2024. The international trade show and world congress sets future standards for the provision of orthopaedic treatment and care worldwide. In the three exhibition halls, the main topics on the agenda include prosthetics and orthotics, digitalisation, robotics and AI as well as compression supplies, insole production and 3D printing. More than 550 exhibitors from 42 countries have registered for the event with over half travelling to Leipzig from outside Germany. This makes OTWorld more international than ever before. At the world congress, 320 international speakers will be providing inspiration on progressive treatment and care for patients.

Practical, international and interdisciplinary: From 14 to 17 May, the world congress at OTWorld will be setting the scene for global knowledge transfer in the prosthetics and orthotics industry. The highly varied congress programme will offer a wide range of further education opportunities for all professional groups working at the interface between people and technology. New items on this year's programme include the addition of a special series of workshops for medical supply store staff. Furthermore, all workshops will now take place within the framework of the world congress.

Nature as a Role Model: Keynote Speaker Presents a Carbon Neutral "Green Carbon" Process at OTWorld 2024
In May 2024 at the next edition of OTWorld in Leipzig, the leading world get-together for the prosthetics and orthotics industry, Professor Thomas Brück will be presenting an innovative technology for use in medical applications called "Green Carbon". The carbon-neutral process for manufacturing algae-based carbon fibres could possibly replace traditional carbon fibres in medical technology applications in the future.

Bienvenue: A Warm Welcome to France as Partner Country at OTWorld 2024
France is presenting itself for the first time as OTWorld's partner country with a large pavilion and contributions to the Congress. French companies and experts working in prosthetics, orthotics and compression supply as well as rehabilitation and orthopaedic footwear technologies will be travelling to Leipzig. At the coming edition of this industry get-together, France's contribution as a country is expected to feature insights into the French health system and its innovations. The Olympic and Paralympic Games, which take place in France next summer, will be particularly in focus at OTWorld 2024.
